"AN ARTIST CAN NOT FAIL, IT IS A SUCCESS TO BE ONE."

I graduated from Roger Williams University, Bristol, RI in 1982 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. As an art major naturally it was mandatory for me to take studio art classes. I became well well rounded in the techniques of the various medias of art available to me at the time. I studied under Sculptor and my mentor, James L. Cathers of Providence, RI. I sensed my 'art' was not of standard (being my worst critic of course) I instead, focused toward Graphics. I was lucky to apprentice with Richard Carbotti, of Newport, RI , Graphic Design/Illustration. In my studies I focused on Gallery Management and Art History courses and declared them as minors.
